Research Training Group SyMoCADS for the additive manufacturing of tumor models
We are happy to pronounce that the LKT starts into a new fascinating research project regarding the additive manufacturing of tumor models!
The RTG 2590 SyMoCADS is an interdisciplinary Research Training Group (RTG) with the goal of advancing the field of synthetic molecular communications, encompassing interdisciplinary research from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medicine of FAU together with the University Hospital Erlangen.
Within the three years lasting program, physical models of the vascular system of tumors will be developed at the LKT using additive manufacturing methods. These models will then be used for the evaluation of magnetic drug targeting approaches.
